This Privacy Policy explains how Partnr LLC ("Partnr," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, platform, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Partnr LLC is a company registered in Idaho, United States.

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and a password (passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see your plain-text password).

Partnership diagnostic information. When you complete our partnership diagnostic, we collect your name, work email, company name, and the answers you provide about your cloud partnership. We use this to generate your results and to follow up with you about Partnr.

Payment information. When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not collect or store your full credit card number. We receive limited billing details from Stripe, such as your subscription status and the last four digits of your card.

Content and partnership data. We collect the information you enter into the platform — such as partner records, programs, certifications, activities, contacts, and notes — and information you choose to import.

Connected integration data. If you choose to connect a cloud partner account (for example, AWS Partner Central), we access certain partnership data from that account on a read-only basis, using credentials you provide. We only access data necessary to provide the Service, and we never modify data in your connected accounts.

Usage information. We collect basic technical information about how you use the Service, such as log data, device and browser information, and actions taken within the platform, to operate and improve the Service.

Communications. If you contact us directly, we keep a record of that correspondence.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
  • Create your account, generate diagnostic results, and deliver platform features;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • Send you service-related communications, including diagnostic results, account notices, and follow-up about Partnr;
  • Provide AI-powered features (see Section 4);
  • Respond to your requests and provide support;
  • Improve, personalize, and develop the Service;
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers. We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Resend (sending email), Anthropic (powering AI features), and hosting and infrastructure providers (to run the Service). These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in response to valid requests by public authorities, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of others.

Business transfers. If Partnr is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership.

4. AI Features

Certain features of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate insights, coaching, summaries, and recommendations. To provide these features, relevant data you have entered may be processed by our AI provider, Anthropic. AI-generated output may not always be accurate or complete and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, financial, or business advice. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated output before acting on it.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service, such as keeping you signed in and maintaining your session. We do not use these technologies to sell your information. Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings; disabling necessary cookies may affect how the Service functions.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive credentials before storage. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your information in a portable format.

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA. We honor these rights as required by applicable law.

9. International Users

Partnr is based in the United States, and your information will be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
